Oakland DX-8365 Series Electronic Falling Dart Impact Tester
Model DX-8365A allows 66 cm (26 inch) drop height and includes a 412 gram dart set with a phenolic dart head.
Model DX-8365AB allows both 66 cm (26 inch) and 154 cm (60 inch) drop heights and includes both a 412 gram dart set with a phenolic dart head and a 1310 gram dart set with a stainless steel dart head.
The square post design with quick release adjustable crosshead clamp ensures that the dart head height and alignment are always within tolerance. Both models include two pneumatic air cylinders that move the upper clamp ring up and down using a push button switch. The dart holder has a pneumatic system to secure heavy dart weights in place until released using a push button switch. Custom length dart stems and dart weights are available.
Optional foot pedal controls to activate the clamp ring and the dart release are available.
