Oakland MX-1210 MicroGauge Profiler

Oakland’s Model MX-1210 MicroGauge Profiler is a rugged, portable, stand-alone film or software driven thickness gauge suitable for use on the factory floor or in a laboratory. Features include LVDT contact sensor, isolated “C” frame assembly for constantly even foot pressure and Front Panel digital readout of thickness. Includes output for Tape Printer data print of individual readings plus High, Low, Average, Standard Deviation (1 sigma) and Data Count. Includes RS-232 port for computer collection of thickness data for statistics, graphics and archiving data.

Measurement spacing: 0.5 to 10 cm (0.2 to 4 inches) in 6 increments for film, 2.5 to 15 cm (1 to 6 inches) in 6 increments fo paper. Custom ranges available on request.

Accuracy: ± 0.5 microns (0.02 mils)

Resolution: ± 0.10 microns (0.01 mils) up to 5 mm (200 mil) range, 1 micron (0.1 mil) up to 7.5 mm (300 mil) range.

Foot size: 4.33 mm (0.170 inch) for film, 15.9 mm (0.628 inch) for paper

Foot pressure: 30 to 60 kPa (4 to 8 psig) for film, 50 kPa (7.3 psig) for paper. Other settings available.

Cycle rate: 20 to 40 per minute for film, 12 to 20 per minute for paper.

Oakland MX-1300 Process Control Software

Add Oakland’s MX-1300 Process Control software for enhanced data collection and analysis capabilities. Oakland’s MX-1300 software includes versatile set-up screens allows operators to select a wide range of configurations, save results and overlay results for comparison. Compatible with all MX series gauge profilers, results can be displayed as linear plots, polar plots for the blown film industry, advanced statistical data compilation. Test results can be archived or exported capability to Excel^TM, Access^TM, Hertzler Systems, and other popular third-party software packages.

MX Series Support Stand

Add Oakland’s MX Series support stand to better manage your test measurement procedure. Sturdy support stand allows strip sample to be placed underneath the instrument, allowing smooth traction and avoids dust accumulation when strip sample is in contact the dusty surfaces such as the floor.

MX Series Strip Printer

Add Oakland’s MX Series strip printer to record each measurement for accurate records. A cost effective alternative when Oakland’s MX-1300 Process Control software is unavailable. Uses standard low cost paper.
