Oakland DS-2100 Free Shrink Tester
Oakland’s Model DS-2100 is designed to determine the percentage of dimensional shrinkage of film and sheet in both Machine and Transverse directions simultaneously. Based on the temperature-controlled, hot-plate design, the Model DS-2100 offers a safer alternative to conventional hot-oil bath systems, and a faster and more precise alternative to conventional ovens for shrink film analysis and testing. With hot plate temperatures controlled to ± 0.3°C (± 0.5°F), and temperature stability achieved in 15 minutes or less, the DS-2100 provides a useful quality tool for determining performance characteristics and Temperature vs. Shrinkage profile analysis of your shrink film products. Operating temperature range of 20 – 150°C (70 – 300°F). gives you the flexibility you need to qualify your films accurately.
Includes High-temperature Oil, Sample Cutting Template, Sample Cutting Knife, Hold-down Disks, Pipettes and Tweezers for oil application and sample handling.
Oakland DT-520 Sample Cutter Press
For high volume testing, add Oakland’s DT-520 Sample Cutter Press with circular steel rule dies.
Oakland Shrink Force Fixture for Universal Tester
Oakland’s Universal testers (MT-1500 series) can be outfitted at fixture that can measure the force exerted by film or sheet as it is heated. This fixture conforms to ASTM D2833.
Requires an Oakland Universal tester outfitted with a 23 Kgf / 0.22 kN / 50 lbf load cell.
